 We have all heard of negative calorie foods- if only they were more tempting we'd all be slim. Who wants to snack on celery and bean shoots all day?  But there are some foods that can help you to lose weight and they are normal everyday foods that you love. One reason that the low carb high protein diets work is that people eat a lot less when they eat protein rich foods. Protein foods are satiating. That means that they keep you full longer, so you don't get diet breaking hunger pangs only an hour or two after a meal.
